AUSTIN, TX (6/8/15) -   Longbow Real Estate Group announced the closing of 5.63 acres, at 1600 Pleasant Valley, Austin, Tx.  The site in the East Riverside Corridor, adjacent to the HEB at East Riverside & South Pleasant Valley.
Jim Young CCIM and Nick Nelson  CCIM  of Longbow Real Estate Group, represented the Buyer, a multifamily investment group, headed by the Co-CEO's Cross Moceri and John Griggs of Presidium Group.   The Seller was represented by Maryam Gharbi, of Texas Premiere Realty. 
The site, known as the Marketplace, has housed a sportsbar, mini-golf course, batting cage, and even a roller skating rink at one time. It is currently occupied by an auto repair store, hookah lounge, and flea market.  Young is interviewing several auto dealers to lease an acre at the front of the site, but there is still availability, as well as office space for lease.
Future plans are to build a new Class A apartment complex at the site.  Among the other world class amenities will be commanding views of the downtown Austin skyline, Lady Bird Lake, and the hike & bike trail.  Its' location is a short walk to the jogging trail.
