Update on ABoR’s Monthly Statistics Report -Austin Home Sales

As a commercial broker, I keep an eye on the residential home sales market because it is such a key indicator of our economy. I'll be sending the ABOR report when it comes out this month.

Starting this week, ABoR will be expanding its monthly housing market statistics report to help you provide Central Texas homebuyers and sellers with even greater context on housing market conditions and trends in the local markets you serve.

Beginning with the January 2016 report, ABoR's monthly housing market report will include market statistics for the 18-county Central Texas region, as well as the Austin-Round Rock-San Marcos Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA), the City of Austin, and Hays, Travis, and Williamson Counties.

ABoR's monthly housing market reports will be utilizing an expanded data set as well. Moving forward, housing market statistics reported by ABoR will include listings from the ABoR MLS as well as Central Texas listings that have been entered in other MLSs in Texas, providing an even more comprehensive picture of the Central Texas housing market.

If you have any questions about ABoR's expanded housing market data report, please contact the ABoR Communications Department at 512-454-7636, option 4 or communications@abor.com.

We're excited to continue to provide you with resources that make Austin REALTORS® the foremost authority for housing market information in Central Texas. Look for the new and expanded January 2016 Austin-area housing market statistics report this Monday, February 22 on ABoR.com.

Sincerely,
